La Finestra literally means "the window" in Italian and it started with the idea to give our clients a look (as if through a window) into the tastes and cultures of Latin and South American countries, with the owners and cooks having both lived and spent much time abroad, our philosophy is to provide a fun, authentic variety of foods and services, while still having the flexibility to customize and personalize our client's wishes and ideas. We offer anything from Mexican carne asada, Dominican rice and beans, Belizean chicken and rice, Cuban skirt steaks and dishes, to authentic Argentinean barbequed chicken and beef.
We began as a family-owned business that has roots dating back to 1955. The Startup catering family began in San Gabriel California and we since have branched out to all of Southern California. La Finestra started with a drive to be the premiere caterer in Orange County and we have made a resolution to offer the highest-quality food, variety, service and cheerful staff that one would expect to receive for their special occasion.
We have catered many high profile events and venues- We catered for the original season of the Yo Gabba Gabba kid's show and other television productions. We have also catered out of the famous Marvimon house in L.A., Adamson House in Malibu, Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado, also the L.A. Rivers and Gardens. In addition, we are one of the exclusive caterers at the Diamond Bar Center, Crestmore Manor in Riverside, Ole Hansen Beach Club, Clarke Estates in Santa Fe Springs, Yorba Linda Community Ctr, O.C. Sail and Events Ctr, Kellogg House in Pomona ,Central Park in Rancho Cucamonga, Fullerton Hillcrest Terrace and the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach.
